Children are a priority at The Way. We love children and value their insight. Our goal is to engage the child in the context of the family. To do this, we try not to completely separate kids from their parents whenever possible. We do provide a safe, clean nursery on Sunday mornings for children birth - kindergarten. Our nursery intends to nurture children towards the understanding that there is a God, He loves each one of us and He desires a relationship with us. We use age appropriate curriculum for children to educate them, encourage interaction, and inspire creativity.

Currently our elementary age children are in the service with the adults.  Often the pastor will take a few moments in a children's moment to relate the service to them in an age appropriate illustration.  The goal is to dismiss children after the music portion of the service to a children's service.  This accomplishes two goals: worshiping as a family and dynamic age appropriate lessons that are fun and relevant.  We use Kidmo DVD curriculum for this age because of the level of professionalism and exciting, relevant, Biblical sessions for the kids.  Currently we don't have the personnel to dismiss the kids to children's worship, but we expect to make this step in the next few months.
