I grew up in Illinois and Kentucky before going to college at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, OK and graduating in 1989. Upon Graduation I moved to Ft. Worth, TX to attend Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I graduated in 1994 with a Master of Art in Religious Education.
I met my wife in Ft. Worth during the seminary years and we married in 1991. We love spending time with each other, our family, and our friends. Our house has always been known as the local hangout. It is not uncommon for friends to be over late nights playing games and eating my wife's wonderful cooking.
I have served on staff in churches in Oklahoma and Texas and have spent most of my career working with students. I have a love and passion for our younger generation and I am continually amazed at the potential of so many of these young lives I have had the honor of knowing. In 2000, I moved to a position of administration at our church in Tomball, TX.
My journey changed paths in 2004 when I felt led to begin The Way Fellowship Church. My journey continues daily and would love to share more about the discoveries I have made along this journey of The Way. |
